Rib fest

There's always room for ribs. Brought my kids to rib fest and we got a whole baby back rib, two corn on the cob, beaver tale and ice creams. There were so many selections of ribs to try. My kids had fun walking around and trying out different foods. My son got a shark tattoo while we were there. Great place to go for a BBQ!

Kids Hair Cut

I've heard about melonhead here and there but never been to one since I've heard it was quite pricey. 

So, I decided to bring them since I wanted to finally cut my daughters long hair and donate it to children's hair foundation. Since it was her first hair cut, I wanted to make it a great experience and importantly, that it was done right. 

Melon head was the first to pop in my mind because it was hair cuts specifically for kids. I'm glad I brought her there because it was very kids friendly and my kids enjoyed getting their hair done. Tia, my daughter was a bit scared but luckily there were toys to give her to get her mind off about what was going on. She eventually liked getting her hair cut. 

Will I go again? Most likely not just because of how expensive it was. But, maybe once in a blue moon :)

Crafts activity

Staying at home can be fun too. I bought some crafts at michaels craft store and got them some creative activity for both my kids to do together.

Live Action

If you have boys that love to play games, let them try coming here, Laser quest! Instead of sitting in front of the screen, they can be active by being in the game running around shooting each other. My nine years old son loved it! He plays black ops with his dad so this place was like live black ops. My 3 years old daughter was too scared. She wanted her step father to hold her. It was dark and a lot of noises. In the end, she got a bit less scared and was brave enough to hold my hand and walked around.

Indoor playground

Since the weather is getting a bit chilly, I didn't want my kids to go outside in the park to play, so I searched to see for a new indoor playground that I haven't been to yet and found this place!

So far I like it because it is very spacious! There's tons of tables for parents to sit and relax. There's a big kid playground and a small kid playground. There's also a snack bar because you're not allowed to bring outside drinks and food inside. I would come back here again and I would also book a party room if I decide to rent a party room one day for a birthday party. They also have a small gym for sports and a mini arcade place for the kids. If you want your kids birthday here, there's a host for your party too! Neat!

Woodbine beach

Grab some sun lotion and sun glasses! For summer, the beach can be warm enough to play around in the sand. The nice breeze and a kiss of the sunlight keeps you warm. My kids walked up to their ankle deep in the water, it was kind of nasty to see so much seaweeds washing ashore. My kids collected rocks and played at the park and we also fed the birds! They liked doing that the most. Cool down with some ice cream. I think the ice cream truck is always there now because it's summer.

Chuckie Cheese

What kid doesn't like chuckie cheese? None that I know that is! Go wild little munchkins while I sit and relax :)
